Supplements I Take That Work

I'm a little wary of natural "remedies," but these are all things I take regularly with good results. What about you?
  1. Gummy melatonin
Who doesn't love a dessert that tastes like a gummy bear and knocks you out? I take 2 just before I brush my teeth and I am always asleep before whatever TV show @evan and I are watching ends. http://www.amazon.com/Vitafusion-Extra-Strength-Melatonin-Blackberry/dp/B00OJMZSWU
  2. Femmenessence MacaHarmony
Horrible name and cheesy box photo, but amazing stuff. The active ingredient is maca, and I swear, since I started taking it, my periods have been downright easy, both in terms of cramp pain and mood stability. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/reviews/B006ICPDHO
  3. Psyllium fiber
There is no shame in pursuing regularity. This stuff works. I mix it with a little juice so it doesn't taste so much like sand. VERY important to follow with lots of water. http://www.amazon.com/Yerba-Prima-Psyllium-Powder-Ounce/dp/B00012NG1W
  4. Primal Defense Ultra
This is the best probiotic I've ever taken. If you travel often, this is a must. Keep it in the fridge. http://www.amazon.com/Garden-Life-Primal-Defense-Capsules/dp/B000GWG8FS
  5. Natural Calm
Basically nice-tasting magnesium. When I'm feeling anxious or have had a long day, there's nothing like drinking a hot mug of this stuff in the bath. http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Vitality-Calm-Raspberry-Lemon/dp/B00BPUY3W0
  6. Cold-Eeze
Zinc lozenges. It could very well be the placebo affect, but I swear, these guys send that initial throat tickle of a cold packing. http://www.amazon.com/Cold-Eeze-Remedy-Natural-Cherry-Lozenges/dp/B000KOU2K4
  7. Biotin.
I've used multiple brands, but this is the one I'm currently using. My hair thins out because of my medicine, so my doctor told me to take this. My hairs not as thick as it used to be, but it's much healthier. I also have to cut my nails quite a bit because it strengthens your nails and makes them grow faster, but it really does help

  8. B-vitamins for energy and nerve pain
Super high dose recommended by my doctor but it really helps! My current fave is the drops from pressed juicery! I don't know if they have them everywhere but they have them at the one on union

  9. Eye vitamins
My mom developed macular degeneration in her 30s (it's the leading cause of vision loss for folks over 50). It got progressively worse for years until she started taking these. It's held steady ever since! No further loss, even though she's in her 70s now. I take them too since I have all the risk factors and I've got no signs of it so far.

  10. Riboflavin/Vitamin B2
Recommended by my son's neurologist...it is one of the least-discussed vitamins/antioxidants but can be helpful in preventing migraines. We take two 100-mg capsules, two times a day.

  11. Colostrum
Don't look it up on how it's made, it's a bit disturbing to some people 😂. Originally started taking it because it made my skin glow but it helped with my overall well-being
