My top 10 or less/more-your call GD songs that are my absolute favorite live/recorded jam sessions

What at incredibly personal list request, thank you @nikkilounoel.....this band is what all others look to, to understand the art of Jamming.....here are some of my favorites in this category βœŒπŸΌπŸŽΈπŸ’€βš‘οΈ. There are many versions of these songs some may argue even tighter/better versions but the request was for Jams!!! And that is what these are ✌🏼

Playing in the Band.....8/27/72 Veneta, OR
Wouldn't be a jam session list without this song....here is by all accounts a std set for this song....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KhWc8WUJQkg#

    The Other One.....9 17 72 Baltimore, MD
40 min song, yeah a lot of bands try this....what a jam song!!!!!! The Other One, otherwise known as Bob Weir, but this is all GD......https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=udCx2qRM8QM#

    Dark Star......2/13/70 New York, NY
29 min song, can it get any better than this quintessential Dead anthem, it's always a good night when Dark Star is rolled out, and here is one of the best by far.....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bpBR3VpAg3E#
  5. β€’
    China/Rider.....11/5/15 Philadelphia, PA
Many great GD versions hands down a crowd pleasing combo, but I am not gonna lie when I need to hear this I turn to the Philly D&C show, the combo of the energy of the band and the Philly crowd makes this one special......https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=p1L1lmvgq5I#
  6. β€’
    Help/Slipknot/Franklin's.....6/9/77 San Francisco, CA
Nothing like this combo and not much better the 77 in Grateful Dead history, could have picked any number from that era, just listen to that Slipknot, and Franklin's is just on fire ....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9Blb-bXz_1U#
  7. β€’
    St Stephen/Not Fade Away/St Stephen.....5/8/77 Ithaca,NY
Would be nearly a sin to leave off at least one song from the acclaimed Barton Hall show, argued by any number of Deadheads as the best show of all times, how one might measure such a thing is hardly possible, but what a show and here is a great example of the Dead playing song into another only to come back to the original......https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b0yu8bUUlaU#
  8. β€’
Eyes of the World.....8/13/75 San Francisco, CA.....7/23/16 The Gorge D&C
One of the absolute most beautiful songs ever created and for that we get a GD version and D&C because Oteil does a beautiful solo Bass.....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EY7edDv3gPI#.....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8eBmjEac1Rg#....
  9. β€’
    Terrapin Station.....5/17/77 Tuscaloosa, AL
An Anthem in the sea of Dead anthems, Terrapin just puts you in another place, there doesn't exist a bad version of this, this was just a perfect example.....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UJdb2_6vrTI#
  10. β€’
He's Gone.......12/1/79 Stanley Theatre Pittsburgh, PA
Just simply one of my favorite GD songs and versions......https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jY7H_T3MY00#
  11. β€’
Uncle John's Band into Morning Dew....11/17/73 Los Angeles, CA
Are you Kind? The one truly grate question that exists.....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2_JgNtN0zVo#
  12. β€’
    Scarlet/Fire.....11/1/79 Uniondale,NY
35 min of bliss...."once in awhile you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right".....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MEL9xXCciQ0#
  13. β€’
Cassidy into Deal 6/21/16 Saratoga Springs D&C
Throw in because I just love this song, the Dead never really extended the jamming on this Weir gem and he lets John go in the D&C versions....https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vc15SR0Qmw8#. (Cleaner recordings are on the full show archives)
