MY FAVORITE SONGS OF ALL TIME - BONUS: FAVORITE LYRIC FROM EACH ONE

Hi, @nathanveshecco requested this of me around a month ago and I'm finally getting around to it! (Yay!) This one was even crueler than favorite albums, but here is my list. (No particular order, I could never.)
  1. In Your Atmosphere - John Mayer
WHO KNEW? @john's just my #1 and this song just blows me away. If someone put a gun to my head and asked my FAVORITE song of ALL TIME EVER, this would be my answer. | Favorite line: "Wherever I go, wherever you are - I watch your pretty life play out in pictures from afar."
  2. Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
A childhood memory sort of tune. It was my dad's ringtone for my brother for the longest time. Reminds me of the past and my family. | Favorite line: "But I'm a million different people from one day to the next I can't change my mold."
  3. Closed Hand, Full of Friends - Foy Vance
This song makes my heart swell with joy. | Favorite line: "So let’s start over with no means to an end Just an open-hearted hope and a closed hand, full of friends."

CHILLS. The choir in this song kicks ass. The saxophone kicks ass. It's so well-written and produced. I love this band. | Favorite line: The saxophone solo. All hail Kit French.
  7. Walk in the Sun - McFly
Danny Jones has a voice that no one could forget. This song is so pretty. | Favorite line: "I wonder if someday I'll be good with goodbyes But I'll be okay if you come along with me."

A well-written masterpiece. Another childhood memory. | Favorite line: "Autumn's sweet we call it fall I'll make it to the moon if I have to crawl."

SO POWERFUL. I love this one. Future tattoo/favorite line: "Focus on your ability."
  10. Beneath Your Beautiful feat. Emeli Sandé
THIS SONG IS JUST SO PRETTY. | Favorite line: "You've built your wall so high That no one could climb it, But I'm gonna try." (Cheesy, but the sentiment is there.)
  11. Where the Streets Have No Name - U2
CHILDHOOD. What a great jam. WHAT a band. | Favorite line: "We're still building Then burning down love."

Tbh, I just picked any KOL song because they're all great and I couldn't choose. | Favorite line: "She took my heart, I think she took my soul."
  14. You Can Call Me Al - Paul Simon
DAH DAH DAHDAH. THE HAPPIEST SONG EVER. This song makes me wanna be barefoot all the time | Favorite line: "I need a photo-opportunity, I want a shot at redemption. Don't want to end up a cartoon In a cartoon graveyard."
  15. Sky Blue and Black - Jackson Browne
Childhood. My dad's favorite artist and one of mine as well. A true masterpiece of a song. | Favorite line: "And I'd have fought the world for you If I thought that you wanted me to, or put aside what was true or untrue."

  24. Til Kingdom Come - Coldplay
This song is so sweet, but also, pretty morbid. I love how death is portrayed here, though. | Favorite line: "I don't know which way I'm going, I don't know which way I've gone."
  25. Car Radio - Twenty One Pilots
The metaphor, here, dude. This song is my pump-up/I-wanna-be-at-a-concert-right-now song. | Favorite line: "Sometimes quiet is violent."
