  1. Riesling. These games are tense, so grab a wine with tension to match. And no better wine than Riesling with its sometimes-sweetness balanced by racy acidity. The raciness also works well as a basketball thing here...
  2. Whiskey. Team losing? Calm yo nerves and do a shot.
  3. Champagne. This also often has tension (the energy mostly comes from the Pinot Noir in it). Also can do double duty when your team or bracket wins!
