1. Living in my parents' house
    Again, at 25
  2. Working as an office manager for a real estate agent
  3. Preparing to go to seminary
(I am no longer a Christian)
  4. Chatting almost daily with a young man whom I would soon begin dating and believed I would marry
(About six weeks later he broke up with me, telling me he wasn't "physically attracted" to me)
  5. Editing photos from a European backpacking trip I had just taken with one of my best friends from college
  6. Thinking I wouldn't be staying in Southern California for more than a couple years
  7. Clueless
  8. Starting my freshman year in High School
I remember taking forever to decide which color combo to wear out of my uniform options- white polo, navy skort, navy knee highs, and clunky brown Mudd shoes.

  9. Probably at cross-country practice
I was a rising junior in high school and we always had practice a few weeks leading up to the start of school. I was a terrible runner, by the way.

  10. 23, just out of a 5 year long, abusive relationship and taking care of a 1 year old on my own. I was working in a restaurant and hoping life would get better. It did.
