    Heard good things about this.
  8. Augustus by John Williams
    I'm a huge Stoner fan.
  9. How to Read a Poem and Fall in Love with Poetry
    I really wish I was a better reader of poetry. This book sounded awesome when I heard the author interviewed.
  10. Gitanjali by Rabindranath Tagore
    Read bits (as well as many of his beautiful short stories) and would love to read this epic poem all the way through.
  11. Something else by Nicholson Baker
    I loved loved loved The Mezzanine
  12. The rest of Cormac McCarthy
    I've read Blood Meridian (three times) All the Pretty Horses, The Road, and The Crossing. I intend to read everything.
  13. The Aeneid and The Iliad
    Read the Iliad in high school but it's on my list to read again. Never read The Aeneid.

    I've only read American Pastoral and it knocked me out it was so good.
