The OG Pacific Northwest Summer Bucket List

ft. 19 beautiful places & adrenaline rushes that I recommend to anyone who lives in Washington (or a peripheral state) or is visiting🌲
  1. 1.
    Hang at Second Beach
    It's absurdly beautiful, especially during sunrise or sunset
  2. 2.
    Hike to Blanca Lake & take a swim
    Insanely beautiful and legitimately worth every moment of the 8 miles it takes to get there
  3. 3.
    Take a trip to Vance Creek Bridge
    This is technically trespassing but after you climb a fence it's a short walk & it's incredible so yolo
  4. 4.
    (Part 2 bc it's crazy as hell, can y'all appreciate this?!?)
  5. 5.
    Camp out for a few nights in the San Juan islands
    My favorites are Orcas Island and Lopez Island- you'll probably see some orcas which is always cool!
  6. 6.
    Hiking Bridal Veil Falls
    what's better than cooling off in a waterfall? Oh yeah, nothing.
  7. 7.
    Road trip to Vancouver
    That's right, I'm legal there bitches🍸🍷🍹

    & then Victoria
    Such a charming city!! It puts grungy Seattle to shame (we're still dope tho)

    While we're there, hit up Butchart Gardens
    I always feel like a character in a fairytale here- very whimsical
  10. 10.
    Day trip to Portland
    Mostly bc it's been way too long since I've been to Powell's Books & exploring cities that you don't see enough of is THE BEST
  11. 11.
    Go camping w/ friends in Salmon la Sac
    The river is perfect and it's secluded enough that we can spread out & not worry about getting caught by a Park Ranger w/ alcohol
  12. 12.
    Watch the sun set & rise from Gasworks Park
  13. 13.
    Kayaking on Lake Union
    one of my favorite areas of Seattle by far
  14. 14.
    Paddleboarding on Green Lake
    serene + a good workout!!
  15. 15.
    Hike Rattlesnake Ledge
    It's fun to sit on that rock and scare your whole family
  16. 16.
    Soak in the Hot Spring at Ohanapecosh, at the base of Mt. Rainier.
  17. 17.
    Hike Mount Si
    Good amount of difficulty + it's conveniently located near the best little burger & shake shop
  18. 18.
    Hang-gliding at Poo Poo Point
    don't say it
  19. 19.
    Go to San Francisco
    it's been a few years too many (not going to try to explain why San Francisco is cool, you guys get it)
  20. 20.
    Cliff dive at Eagle Falls
    Lots of good places so you can pick a height you're comfortable with. How courteous, Eagle Falls
