Must-see Films for Halloween

Want a break from typical horror films? I recommend watching these gems.
  1. Les yeux sans visage - 1959
Directed by Georges Franju, this French film is beautifully haunting from start to finish.
  2. Basket Case - 1983
A ridiculous film about Siamese twins who are separated, and one brother carries the other in a basket. This was an actual franchise.
  3. Ginger Snaps - 2000
A film about sisters who have to deal with puberty and turning into werewolves. It's a classic!
  4. The Hunger - 1983
Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie as sexy ass vampires. Need I say more?
  5. Housebound - 2014
A horror comedy out of New Zealand. I won't spoil this one...Just watch it!
  6. Martin - 1977
One of Romero's early films. His take on the classic vampire mythology is compelling and super creepy.
  7. The Fearless Vampire Killers - 1967
Polanski's take on vampires in Central Europe is humorous. Nothing like his classic, Rosemary's Baby.
  8. The Monster Squad - 1987
Typical 80s film but some of the one-liners are top notch!
  9. May - 2002
A film about a slightly awkward girl who tries to connect with those around her. The ending is haunting.
  10. Any film with Vincent Price
    You can't go wrong!
