Misconceptions I Had As A Child

  1. Cars didn't move.
They were just stationary objects on the earth that rotated and moved the cars along.
  2. Strippers were just pretty women.
And they got paid just for being pretty, not taking off their clothes. Needless to say my first dream job was a stripper and my grandmother didn't have the heart to tell me the truth so she would tell me when I grew up that we would be strippers together.
  3. Everything was alive.
I picked up stones to protect them from monsters at night. My room was full of the most random things that I was trying to protect. I basically spoke to them all and thought they spoke back. (I might be crazy.)
