  1. Introvert/extrovert: Introvert
But I've become much more comfortable around people. I've somehow given birth to two extroverts. They have taught me a lot. And I get a kick over how excited they get when they are around lots of people.
  2. Scars: Lots of them. My skin easily scars.
    But I don't mind them.
  3. What religion was I raised with: Southern Baptist in theory but my parents rarely took me to church.
But when I did go, I hated it. It was a lot of fire and brimstone, not a whole lot about love, and forgiveness.
  4. What religion am I now: Episcopalian! Which you would think is crazy, if you had known me 4 years ago.
I'm still kinda agnostic but my priest says doubt is as important to faith as belief is.
  5. Registered to vote? Yep! I vote in every election.
  6. Favorite Dr Suess: One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish
It's the first book my son read to me on his own.
  7. A consistent quality of people I'm attracted to?
Humor, intelligence, and different than me
  8. 1st time I fell in love:
Oh gee. Joshua Bumgardener, 6th grade. I was a kid but that didn't make the feeling any less real than what I felt as an adult.
  9. Luxury I could not live without: air conditioner, safe tap water, and food from grocery stores.
  10. Celebrity I would lose my shit over: Bob Dylan
Hands down. I would totally lose my shit and embarrass myself and would not be able to think of anything to say. Anyone else? Eh just people.
  11. School year that was the worst: 7th-12 really
But 7th was the worst. One benefit from those awful years, I know the signs to look for and I will do all I can to make sure my children are safe from themselves and others.
  12. Where was I born?: Savannah, Georgia
And it will always feel like home, but I would never live there again.
  13. Where would I like to live?: Santa Fe, New Mexico
I fell in love with this city when I was 18. I just feel like I belong there. It feels like home but without the baggage of Savannah. My husband and I plan to retire there. For now, I just go as often as I can.
  14. Languages I speak: English. I used to be pretty good at reading Spanish but I'm out of practice.
  15. What I'm addicted to: coffee, Internet, running
    In that order
  16. Am I kind to myself on a regular basis?: I guess? I take care of myself with exercise, eating good food and I bathe regularly.
I'm not into pampering. I just don't like to be touched by strangers.
  17. How do I feel about my body: I had severe body issues until my mid 30s.
I love and respect my body now. It took a lot of work to get to that place though.
  18. What is something people assume about me that makes me crazy: That I'm not intelligent, that I'm not a liberal, that I'm not a feminist.
I'm a white stay at home mom in Suburbia, Texas. So I don't necessarily fit the mold of what people think I'm supposed to be.
  19. Which of my world views has changed most drastically?: I was much more judgmental of people when I was younger
Now, I kinda feel like most people are just trying to do the best they can.
  20. What am I really good at: I can read and type really fast. I'm a good cook and baker. And as much as I feel like I don't know what I'm doing, I'm a pretty good mom.
