Books I Love

will be adding more as time goes on.
  1. Watchers by Dean Koontz
This book has changed my entire perspective when I read it a few years ago. It's about a man who is on a hike and mysteriously finds a golden retriever. He may seem like a normal dog but no, the man discovers that the dog was created in a scientist's lab by communicating with him. After this, he names him Einstein and a lot more things happen. The FBI and a hitman comes into it, including a strange creature that was created in the same lab trying to kill Einstein, having me hooked until the end.
  2. Dexter (all of them) by Jeff Lindsay
The main character is just too relatable to me, personally. He is basically a serial killer killing other serial killers (see the irony?). Kinda like a serial killer with a heart, since he has a soft spot for children. The book series is also a tv series which is just as good, but is a lot different. Dexter has such a dark past that I don't blame him for doing what he does. From a young age, he had an urge to kill so his adoptive father taught him how to deal with it.
  3. My Sister Jodie by Jacqueline Wilson
When I was obsessed with reading books by this wonderful woman, my all time favourite was this one. It's about a relationship between an innocent young sister and her older rebellious sister with a dark twist. The family move, causing the girls to move to a strict boarding school, separating the boys and girls. The sisters get up to more and more trouble as the story goes on and has a dark twist at the end, which is more recommended for older children.
