1. Instead of just referring to myself as having Multiple Sclerosis (like I normally would)...
  2. I made the statement that I feel very small and insignificant right now...
  3. After tonight's election...
  4. Because I'm a disabled woman.
  5. I have never used the word disabled to describe myself.
  6. Even though my vision is greatly impacted
  7. And I often use assistive devices such as a cane, walker, or a wheelchair.
  8. Ive never truly seen it as a disability, just as something I had, just another part of me.
  9. But after tonight, I am afraid I won't be perceived the same.
  10. We've just put into the highest office someone who has publicly mocked a person with a disability.
  11. For the first time, I realized that could be me.
  12. It makes me so sad. 😢
  13. I want things to go back to how they were, okay?
