I'm INFJ. I need music in my life. This list was inspired by @veshecco because he always challenges me to examine my music aesthetic, & by @beatlesmccuen because he listed the best fictitious introvert album ever. Add your songs here and on Spotify if you'd like 😊 https://open.spotify.com/user/12184881446/playlist/0bkkCpos1BffOAYSAocAIc
  1. Add your songs even if you're not an introvert! 😊👍
  2. Circle-Edie Brickell and New Bohemians
"Being alone is the best place to be.."
  3. Nobody Knows - Pink
My favorite song by Pink. The video is absolutely amazing. When I first started learning about being INFJ and why I have always felt just a little different, this song became my theme song.
  4. Little Black Submarines - Black Keys
Sometimes I feel so out of sync with the rest of the world. I don't say what I should when I should. This song gets me right in the feels.
  5. Hunger Strike - Temple of the Dog
This song always reminds me to be happy with what you have, what you need, rather than always resentful for not having what you want.
  6. With My Own Two Hands - Ben Harper
I can change the world, in my own way. We all can. I can change my own world...we can change each other's.
  7. I'll Be Your Water - Keb Mo
This...this is who I try to be to those I love. Such a simple, beautiful song.
  8. Imagine - Keb Mo
I know, it's not John Lennon. Keb Mo is one of my favorite blues artist. There is something about the blues guitar in this cover combined with the wonderfully idealistic lyrics.
  9. The Sun is Shining Down - JJ Grey & Mofro
JJ Grey seems to put his entire being into each syllable of each word...and I love that. You can hear how damn grateful he is to see another day, take another breath, feel the sun...survive.
  10. Flaws - Bastille
I think the most beautiful thing about people is how wonderfully flawed we are. I don't think there should be any shame associated with our flaws. We need to learn how to not bury them.
  11. The Show Must Go On - Queen
This is one of my favorite Queen songs. No matter what happens, we keep going. And that is amazing.
  12. Don't be Shy - Cat Stevens
    Suggested by @gidgetteagogo
  13. Left of Center - Suzanne Vega

  14. Outfit - Dirve-By Truckers
I actually stumbled upon this song by accident while making this playlist. This song resonated so deeply with me because of my children. It's a man giving his son practical life advice. It's simple and sweet.
  15. Fool on the Hill - The Beatles

  16. Nowhere Man - The Beatles
    Suggested by @beatlesmccuen
  17. In My Room - The Beach Boys

  18. In Repair - John Mayer
    Suggested by @beatlesmccuen
  19. Transatlanticism - Death Cab for Cutie
    Suggested by @beatlesmccuen
  20. Incomplete and Insecure - The Avett Brothers

  21. Upstate Blues - Into It. Over It.
    Suggested by @snark
  22. Here - Alessia Cara
About being at a party and all the typically party things happening around you but you really just want to leave and hang out with a few friends.
    Suggested by @kbon
  23. Human - Christina Perri
This song reminds me to forgive myself. I tend to take on too much, for too many people. If I can't do or be everything everyone I love needs, I tend to get be really disappointed in myself. This song, to me, is all embracing the fact I'm only human.
  24. Avett Bros: The Perfect Space
    Suggested by @listerine86
  25. Way Over Yonder in the Minor Key - Billy Bragg and Wilco
Or anything on Mermaid Avenue Vol 1.
    Suggested by @listerine86
  26. Bring the Rain - Finish Ticket
This track starts out slow, but each chorus releases the tension that the verses emotionally build. Some solid San Fran rock.
