1. "Welcome to Manchester, Hannah!"
    These geese were EVERYWHERE.
  2. Guys, I was so exhausted by the time I got to Manchester, I didn't do anything.
    I mean, anything.
  3. I went to the Museum of Science and Industry, but felt too tired to go through it. I bought a sandwich and then went back to my hostel to nap.
But it looked really cool!! It's catered towards children, but I wanted to do everything in there.
  4. Does anyone know what this building is?
It obviously sticks out like a sore thumb, and I liked it.
  5. I was in the neighborhood of Castlefield, which was delightful.
    Clean and very industrial.
  6. And a beautiful canal!!
  7. This was the only address I was given for my hostel.
Glad I found it okay. Directional signs were very helpful.
  8. YHA hostels usually get a bad rap for having a lot of families and older people staying.
But I found plenty of young people there! I didn't talk to any of them though. I had a huge project to work on for a job I'm in the final round for, and then I had a phone interview for another job. It was a busy evening.
  9. I loved this hostel a lot.
It was the cleanest hostel I've ever been in, good food, and lots of suggestions for things to do.
  10. I recommend staying there if you're ever in Manchester.
Right on the water with tables outside to enjoy the view.
  11. Off to Stratford-Upon-Avon for two nights!
It's the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. As the city is his birth place, it's gon get WILD.
