PICTURES FROM TODAY'S HIKE IN HAWAII, VOLUME V

Hamama Falls
  1. Hamama Falls in a super short, now restricted hike in Kaneohe.
  2. Ignore the sign and go around the gate.
  3. The trail is paved with gravel and easy to access. It's wide, and there is no chance of getting lost.
  4. It's only a little over a mile and a half, but it does get pretty steep.
  5. Along the way, you'll see lots of beautiful flora and fauna
  6. My 6 year old teaching us about how humming birds drink from these plants
  7. Bananas
  8. A little over a thousand feet elevation, you'll reach the falls
  9. There are lots of different pools to swim in (if you're a kid) and wade through (if you're an adult)
  10. Notice my photo bombers
  11. So hot, want to touch the hiney!
  12. On the way out, we found a magnificent banyan tree that the kids want to camp under. Not a bad idea, really.
  13. Hamama Falls was an incredible family adventure and it has caused some incredible family naps.
