Time management and procrastination have ruined my life for a very long time, in the most destructive way imaginable. So I've formulated a perfect routine that's composed of 'disciplines' and habits. The goal here is to schedule everything, time everything, and stick to it no matter what. So here goes:
- 1.Go to bed same time everydayThis is important to set my body clock, and prevents me from being tempted to work overnight, or waste time on the internet.
- 2.Wake up at 5AMThis is hard when starting, might require sleeping earlier (count 8hours from 5AM), so for now I'm still waking up at 8 and building up to 5 by reducing an hour every now and then. 5AM is the goal. You can use this time to work out, plan & prepare for the day, essential cleaning or even start solving more complex problems and start the day off with much lighter ones.
- 3.Breakfast is a MUSTIt's the most important meal of the day, and you can't be productive on an empty stomach. If your fitness plan says you should skip it then that's fine as you probably have something else to cover for it. Otherwise breakfast is essential.
