  6. (2/3)and you love it there, and you love the newness of it. The last is Newfoundland, which is the place you return to from Wonderland, but is no longer the same when you return. Your experience in the Wonderland changes you, it changes be way you think, even your beliefs, and when you return, home isn't what it used to be because
  7. (3/3) you aren't who you used to be and you have to figure out how new you fits into Newfoundland, how you can take what you learned and progress. Newfoundland is difficult because a lot of times people won't understand what happened to you, how you've changed, the experience you had, because they haven't been there.
My friend Faisal dropping some wisdom on me from his international summer service program

Because of the routines we follow, we often forget that life is one ongoing adventure...life is pure adventure, and the sooner we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat life as art: to bring all our energies to each encounter, to remain flexible enough to notice and admit when what we expected to happen did not happen.
    Maya Angelou
