li.st friends, tell me your beauty secrets 💅💅💅

share your knowledge in the year of our lord 2017 (pls i don't know anything about anything other than impress stick on nails which i thank the world for an a regular basis)
  1. you all seem to know things
i want to know things too
  2. recently i purchased a cc cream and as i applied i kept asking my friends "does my face look like a face????"
@k8mcgarry did not care for that question
  3. but what else is there?
  4. fun masks? cheap good things? rollers for your face which apparently are a thing? other things i've never even heard of?
  5. btw these are the nails and they are dope. lots of different colors and patterns. you can get them on amazon or at like walgreens/cvs. i gave @sophiack and @ltoiaivao some on nye and they lost theirs immediately but mine typically last a week or two
  6. current sticky nails for new years
  7. Go with me to Sephora and ask them to give you different looks. They do free 15 minute things that focus on one thing - brows, eyes, lips, etc. I will buy something for myself and you won't be pressured to buy anything that way.

  8. What Soph said. Also I watch a lot of YouTube tutorials. And it's embarrassing but sometimes I practice new looks on nights when I'm not going out just to get better. Like I'll do my eyeliner a million times and wipe it off so I get better at that motion

  9. It honestly depends on what kind of makeup you're into. Do you want full glam? Easy makeup but with full coverage? Or minimalist makeup?

  10. clarification: i want to know all kind of things! what's your favorite thing? what's your trademark movie? what's your indulgent buy?
  11. like i can do this which i just practiced doing (tho slightly sloppy bc glasses) but it's literally the only look i can do (and it's dry af bc i was too lazy to go get my moisturizer from the other room)
  12. I posted a list for you!

  15. Aztec Secret Face Mask + Apple Cider Vinegar is such a good starter mask

  16. Okay one more because I LIVE for this! Get your brows done at Benefit's brow bar they are geniuses
    The cuteness helps too TBH

  17. For the longest time I used various brushes (or my hands) for my foundation/concealer, and last year I finally caved and bought a Beauty Blender and it was the best $20 I've ever spent. Complete game changer- makes my skin look so smooth and even and airbrushed 🙏🙏🙏

  18. Favorite thing of all time is Kat Von D's everlasting liquid lipstick
Can be found at sephora for like $20 I think. Don't be put off by the colors though. All of them are matte and her nude color is Bow N Arrow and I swear by it. It doesn't come off or smudge easily so I can wear it all day and reapply once!

  19. This mascara is my go to
It makes my lashes look fuller and longer without me having to use fake ones!

  20. Elf brushes
Target yassss. They have a good selection of brushes for a decent price.

  21. I swear by primer! It's life changing, haha! Most times I wear makeup, I just go for BB or CC cream over foundation but I always use a primer no matter what else I'm doing. It makes a huge difference! (I love Benefit's That Gal but lately I've just been using a super-cheap Elf primer from Target and even that is fine.)
I also always use an additional eye shadow primer too (I prefer Clinique's Touch Base). Also - Benefit's They're Real mascara is everything! I love it so much!

  22. This stuff right here is THE BEST.
I have hella sensitive skin but this keeps my face so fresh and clean! Plus when you use it, it tingles~*~

  23. If you're looking for a simple glam eye look, I recommend this:
Basically, you swipe it over your eyelid and you have a non-creasing glamorous glitter look! Personally, I like adding a few other tones in my crease and on my brow bone for some extra dimension, but it works great by itself too!

  24. This is one of my favorite sunscreens, I've been using it for years!
It's great for all skin types, but specially if you have oily skin, you'll love this ❤️🙌
