My quite good, reasonably not bad day.

  1. So, I got about 4-5 hours sleep last night.
I kept too close an eye on the local elections and channeled my inner Josh Lyman. It didn't go how I wanted it to go.
  2. I woke up at 7.30am after going to sleep about 3.
My friend/ex/B had texted me at 6am to let me know how it went.
  3. He didn't win a seat on the council, but he did pretty well for a first timer.
It was a long shot but great experience for him. I texted him some supportive words.
  4. Then another friend texted because she was worried about her unborn baby.
It's fine now, and she's been checked out, but worrying times!
  5. B texted late morning when he woke up from his election based all nighter.
We talked more about it. He's mostly relieved it's over. So am I. His health isn't up to it right now.
  6. He was really grateful for my support and positive words.
Because I'm proud of him for trying.
  7. Then I made it to the gym which felt like a huge effort.
But I always go on a Friday and I didn't want to wimp out.
  8. It was hard and tiring but felt good.
My limbs are going to ache tomorrow.
  9. Then I took my mum out for lunch.
It was delicious. Yes, that's Mac n cheese in a chicken burger.
  10. And went grocery shopping.
Ok, so I bought cake but I bought useful stuff too!
  11. I'm home now. I'm tired but it's a good kind of tired. My friend is ok. Me and B had a good chat and I'm feeling good about that. I had fun with my mum.
  12. And, I have cake. Cake!
