1. Stamps
Beautiful, inexpensive, powerful if you think about what they can do. Say what you will about our failing postal system, but a stamp is a wonderful thing.
  2. Our highway system
It's like a maze where your driveway is connected to any place on the continent.
  3. Indoor plumbing
You never think about how great it is until your facilities are less than acceptable.
  4. The internet
So much stupid, but, on the flip side, THE WORLD IS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS IF YOU JUST KNOW HOW TO LOOK. Anything you want, in the palm of your hand, and half of it can be delivered to you overnight if not sooner.
  5. Science
Not facts(and definitely not alternative facts!!!) but a method for you to explore the world around you and learn as much as you can! Also teachers who do their best every day to teach kids to science(I made it a verb, don't @ me!) @kate81 @e

  8. Cellphones 📱
Stating the obvious but this little black mirror has saved me money (got rid of landline), saved time (where's the closest Starbucks), eliminated maps (see above ☕️) and a hand held computer. Tho with everything on this list still ☹️ Louis CK says it better here. https://youtu.be/q8LaT5Iiwo4

  10. Our health
I never realize this as much as after I've been sick with a cold or something and wake up feeling better, finally...that's when I think, man I take my health for granted

  12. Reliable waste disposal
Imagine a 2 week strike by waste management in your location and what you'd experience as it piles up...... 😱

  13. Automobiles
I get up and get to my job everyday. Without it I'd be SOL because public transit doesn't run that early or get me near where I need to be for work

  14. Education
Yeah it's public and compulsory and the youths love to complain, but imagine working labor jobs as a youth instead!

  17. Grocery Stores
A wonderland of anything you need (and a bunch of shit you don't) from all over the world, gathered in one convenient space. All you need is a cart, a few reusable bags, and some cash, and you can fulfill your wildest food and sundries dreams.

  18. Indoor shelter
So many people are homeless, and in some parts of the world even those with shelter are barely covered in huts or tents. They are still subject to the weather, insects, and other unwanted critters.

  19. Our teeth (I had to!)
Most of us aren't blessed with these stunners, but think about not having all/most of your teeth..our self esteem is directly impacted, it affects our ability to enjoy food and sustain ourselves nutritionally..
