  1. The first cassette I bought with my own money was Wham's "Music from the Edge of Heaven" which I had to return because it was "too sexual"
  2. 'Faith' is my go to karaoke jam. That organ in the beginning is such a fantastic palette cleaners. It clears you of all thought and emotion and prepares you for 3 minutes of denim-clad, butt shaking greatness.

  3. Listen Without Prejudice is one of my favorite albums of all time. I'll never forget loving every song and the memories associated with a few as well.💔

When Columbia House was a thing I used to "borrow" my sister's cassettes to take it to school and play them during our free music time. Faith was one such cassette. Eight year old me never recovered. There will be many drinks had in his honour tonight.

  8. My husband and I watched the Extras Christmas Special for the first time last night when the kids went to bed, in which GM has a very funny and self-deprecating cameo so he was already on my mind...I got Wham! Make It Big on vinyl for Christmas in 1984...
Every year I text my sister in law a link to Last Christmas video in mid December because it is such a perfect 1980s music video and I truly love the song...Freedom '90 makes me cry pretty much every time I hear it.

  9. I was too young to understand why I couldn't ever actually end up with George Michael.
But I played the hell out of "Faith" in my high school years.
