Books I've Read/Am Reading This Week

  1. Cork Dork
I can't go faster than a 2.0 and read, or I get motion sick. 😝 I'm about halfway through this one, and quite enjoying it, even though I don't drink wine! (I have nothing against wine, I just think it tastes gross. 😜)
  2. The Wind Off The Small Isles
I have read Mary Stewart's books to the point they're all falling apart, so I was thrilled to discover a novella I'd never read was recently republished after 40 years out of print. It was set on Lanzarote (one of the volcanic Canary Islands), and now I can't stop google image searching Lanzarote. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  3. The Sound of Gravel
An intense, but great, FLDS memoir. Trigger warnings (sexual abuse, sudden death). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  4. Lab Girl
Only one chapter in, but realizing how un-Scandinavian my family is apparently. (We do nothing but talk, and talk about our feelings. 😂😂)
  5. Garden of Lamentations
I LOVE the Duncan Kincaid & Gemma James series from Deborah Crombie. Always makes my "I want to visit London again" itch worse, but this was a great entry. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  6. Redshirts
John Scalzi's books make me laugh out loud, and the audio versions are all narrated by Wil Wheaton. 😍😍😍
