THE 5 MOST INTRIGUING BOOKS I GOT IN THE MAIL TODAY

  1. The Butcher Bird by SD Sykes
It has a GORGEOUS cover. And I reviewed the first book in this series last year, and really enjoyed it.
  2. Killer Deal by Sofie Sarenbrant
    I'm a sucker for Scandinavian crime. 🕵
  3. Modern Lovers by Emma Straub
Totally judging this by its cover, and I love it! And I heard good things about The Vacationer!
  4. Portrait of a Conspiracy by Donna Russo Morin
I'm also kind of a sucker for conspiracy fiction. Especially when Medicis are involved!
  5. The Rules of Love and Grammar by Mary Simses
This sounds like a nice, light read, with a heroine I really relate to. ("Grace's penchant for pointing out mistakes...") 😝
  6. Sidenote: is it coincidence that I picked 5 books by women? Or am I biased? My "less intriguing" pile includes 8 by men and 5 by women...
