THOUGHTS UPON DISCOVERING YOU'RE NOT REALLY ENJOYING A BOOK YOU'VE WAITED AGES FOR

The book in question is Bill Bryson's THE ROAD TO LITTLE DRIBBLING. In all fairness, I am only 15% into it.
  1. Maybe it gets funnier?
  2. Man, I'm so bummed right now.
  3. I've been looking forward to this book for so long!
  4. Ok Bryson, we get it.
  5. The youth of today are terrible.
  6. And can't spell.
  7. Oh, that McDonald's story was funny!
  8. Maybe it's picking up?
  9. Hm. Nope. Back to ranting about illiterate youth.
  10. Suddenly feeling like I'm about 30 years too young to be the target demographic for this book.
  11. Ugh.
  12. His last book (One Summer) was SO good.
  13. Maybe he needs to go back to writing histories instead of travelogues...
