Nice Restaurants in San Francisco You Don't Need to Book a Hundred Years in Advance
- •Bluestem BrasserieGigantic restaurant on Market that doesn't need to be good, but is anyway. Solid dinner option, especially for big groups at the last minute. Always enough options for people with all kinds of goofy food allergies. Duck Confit Salad is on point.
- •Bourbon SteakUsually easy to get a reservation day of. Meal starts with complimentary flight of French fries and three sauces. Three! All sides are amazing, the truffle mac&cheese is 👌.
- •Le ColonialFrench-Vietnamese restaurant tucked up in an alley. Entering restaurant feels like traveling back in time and also like some black magic as what appears to be a tiny house is actually a gigantic two story restaurant. Always so impressive to bring people there. Best dishes: coconut water braised pork, Chilean sea bass, and the Brussels sprouts. THE SPROUTS you guys. So good.
- •DOSA on FillmoreSolid fancy-ish Indian restaurant, super good cocktails.
