For the longest time I have no idea what the real words are and then usually when I learn the real words I'm either disappointed or my mind is blown. I know this list should be way longer, so I plan on adding to this list as I remember them.

  6. Preface: I was really really young!! I misheard the lyrics for Love In The First Degree. "Guilty as a girl can be" ... in my head, was "guilty as a drunken pea"!!
    Developmental psychologists, go crazy on that one! Speaks volumes! Also, full out embarrassed to tell this story publicly! 🙈

  8. In "Lucky" by Britney Spears she sings, "Then why do these tears come at night?" but when I was younger I thought she said thieves instead of tears. I was very confused.
