My Halloween Pop-Culture Must List 🎃

  1. Halloween films starring Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween H20)
  2. "Monster Mash" by Bobby Pickett
In heavy rotation for the next month.
  3. Any Halloween episode of "Roseanne"
Some years Netflix is generous to have them available or some cable network will air a marathon.
  4. Trick 'r Treat
Fantastic horror anthology film set on Halloween. Hope we get another installment eventually.
  5. Ernest Scared Stupid
    A childhood favorite.
  6. I've Been Waiting For You
TV movie from 1998 based on Lois Lowry novel. Makes a great double feature with my next choice..
  7. Hocus Pocus
I actually saw this in the theater when it was first released. It's part of my Halloween DNA.
  8. Spaced Invaders
A comedic early 90s "War of the Worlds" riff.
  9. The X-Files
I like to revisit down random favorite episodes.
  10. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - "Halloween"
I'll take the classic season 2 episode over later Buffy Halloween eps.
  11. The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice
Always a good time to revisit any of these amazing books.
  12. The Monster Squad
I tend to gravitate toward sentimental favorites this time of the year.
  13. Michael Jackson's "Thriller"
  14. Dawn of the Dead (2004) & 28 Days Later (2003)
    My favorite zombie double-feature.
  15. Amazing Stories, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits
I'm a big sci-fi/horror/fantasy anthology series buff year round.
  16. Boo Berry, Frankenberry, Count Chocula
The spoopy trinity of breakfast cereals.
  17. Scary stories to tell in the dark
So much fun to read and share with others who love or are new to the books.
  18. Haunted Houses
I love them regardless of how tame or batshit crazy scary they are. Run the entire gauntlet.
