1. Seasons 5 & 6 were even harder to watch a second time through when I revisited the entire series after it was added to Netflix.
Great shows can go off the rails, it happens, not entirely convinced that trying a revival or do-over makes it any better.
  2. Series revivals are in vogue now, but how many times have they been successful and gratifying?
Serenity, the feature film continuation of Firefly, is a rare exception. As was The X-Files event series. But neither of those provided enough closure and only leave me wanting so much more.
  3. The Veronica Mars Kickstarter funded feature was also a big disappointment for me.
It didn't come close to the promise of the Season 4 teaser that never came to be.
  4. How many people were happy with Heroes Reborn or Dallas on TNT?
  5. I say all this hoping I am proved wrong by Amy Sherman Palladino and her Stars Hollow crew. But I will curb my enthusiasm until then.
  6. P.S.
I am sorry for all these Debbie Downer lists lately. Working through some stuff and vomiting out whatever crap crosses my mind.
