Panda Bear - Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper/Crosswords EP
Crosswords was effectively a small collection of b-sides but I actually enjoyed it as much or more than Grim Reaper. But, I had "Boys Latin" stuck in my head for weeks, so I'm putting both on the list.

    Floating Points - Elaenia
Laid back, organic, layered electronic jams. Very Four Tet in all the best ways.

Ævangelist - Enthrall to the Void of Bliss
SO MANY good metal albums releases in 2015. I happened upon Ævangelist's "Writhes in the Murk" on Bandcamp completely by chance, just in time to see them prepping a brand new album for release. Providence!

  1. John Lennon & Yoko Ono - "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)"
There are other good versions but nothing does it like the original.
  2. Judy Garland - "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
This, or Nat King Cole, or maybe She & Him's version will do.
  3. The Pogues - "Fairytale of New York"
There is no other version worth hearing.
