  1. Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you are into the musical (or history in general) and you're not afraid of a big book, read it! It was slow going at first, but once I got into the Revolutionary War I was interested. By the time it got into post-war politics I was riveted. Hamilton was a fascinating man who did so much more (and feuded so much more) than the musical has time to tell about. Another list I wrote about it: LISTS I SHOULD'VE WRITTEN AS I READ ALEXANDER HAMILTON'S BIOGRAPHY
