BRAVES PLAYERS OF THE 90S RANKED

In honor of Opening Day and because @LauraM encouraged me to post (check out her Braves list here: MY FAVORITE BRAVES PLAYERS ) Based on personal feelings rather than actual stats.
  1. 10.
    David Justice
He could be a bit of a showboat, and he left the Bravos too quickly for my liking. But he was an amazing home run hitter, and he really produced for the Braves.
  2. 9.
    Ryan Klesko
He was a favorite of my best friend at the time because he could hit homers and was kind of cute.
  3. 8.
    Fred McGriff
McGriff, the Crime Dog, was a home run hitting All-Star for a few years in the mid 90s. It just didn't last long enough.
  4. 7.
    Jeff Blauser
You probably don't remember him. He wasn't a superstar. I think that's why I liked him. Also + for being a middle infielder.
  5. 6.
    Mark Lemke
A great defensive 2nd baseman. Stands out in my memory because I, too, had hopes of being a great defensive second baseman. Alas, it was not meant to be, for me.
  6. 5.
    Tom Glavine
My least fav of the three great pitchers of the 90s. Can't really tell you why. He just wasn't quite as good as Maddux and didn't have the personality that Smoltz had. Plus, he was the first of the group to defect. Who in his right mind would leave the Braves for the Mets?
  7. 4.
    Javy Lopez
Beloved by me and my teenaged friends for his smile, his butt, and, of course his catching abilities. I once stood five feet from him at spring training, and it was everything I hoped it would be.
  8. 3.
    John Smoltz
He just seemed like a fun guy. And even after he had Tommy John surgery he came back as an awesome closer. I just like him.
  9. 2.
    Greg Maddux
With his incredibly low ERAs and his multiple Cy Youngs and Golden Gloves, how could you not stand in awe of Greg Maddux?
  10. 1.
    Chipper Jones
He was plagued by injuries throughout his career, but we started with the Braves at the same time (him as a short stop turned third baseman and me as a superfan), and kind of grew up together. My teenage self was in L-O-V-E with him.
