My Life Philosophy

  1. Try not to think about it.
Applies to more than you think.
  2. It is what it is
Maybe a cop-out, but can't be denied. Acceptance makes life easier.

  3. Getting there is all the fun. Traveling is better than arriving. The journey is the reward.

  4. It's ok to be afraid, but do it anyway. Always choose kindness.

  5. What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine.

  6. It is what it is.

  7. "The profound sadness of life is to be allowed rather than resisted, then folded into the wholeness of life, which continues to unfold."
(And yet) "Happiness is our real condition. It is reality. It is life. In this life, life is represented by beauty and happiness. If you are completely unaware of them you are not alive. The times when you are not aware of beauty and happiness you are not alive. By awareness of life we are inspired to live. Life is consciousness of life itself. The measure of your life is the amount of beauty and happiness of which you are aware.

No matter how bad it seems

  10. I've noticed it in stages. 15-25 was definitely 'Everything is temporary'. Then late 20's to early 30's was 'Life is absolutely beautiful'. From then to 38 was mostly 'Love everyone, including yourself' and today it was "You never know what tomorrow may bring."
Oh and one I've felt my whole life, "Life is way too short to hold back an 'I love you'."

  14. Be kind, for everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about.
    Close to home.

  15. Why can't we have both? Let's do it! Why not? The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom.
    All in the same vein...
