1. Get a giant crock pot.
  2. Pour yourself some wine.
  3. Quadruple the recipe.
  4. Leave dinner that wasn't eaten out and easily available until bedtime.
  5. Watch any fantasy of leftovers disappear before your eyes.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 several times in a given week.
  7. Occasionally have "snacks for dinner," which means that there will be an urgent need to go to the grocery store the following day because EVERYTHING will be gone.
