1. Baby spinach
    For iron
  2. Iceberg lettuce
    For crunch
  3. Cucumber slices
    Take the outer part off, no need for it. It's gross.
  4. Tomatoes
    Slice that sucker like an orange. No cherry tomatoes, you actually want to get the food in your mouth.
  5. Shredded carrots
  6. Cheddar cheese*
    Cubed, not shredded. Okay, maybe shredded if you're about that.
  7. Two hard boiled eggs on the side*
    For protein, just buy them because they're there, no need to eat them as part of the salad
  8. Mandarin oranges
    So many. If you want dressing though, out the oranges in a different container.
  9. Dressing: ranch*
    Sometimes I think salad is just a vehicle to get ranch into my mouth.
  10. *If you're a vegan just ignore the cheese, eggs and dressing. The oranges can be a good substitute for dressing as well. You go friend.
