Five Happy Moments From The Past Week

Seemingly easy first list idea.
  1. 1.
    Spending time with my 82 year old Nanny and Papa Don in their incredibly authentic 1970's home.
    My three kiddos stealing frame. As always.
  2. 2.
    Capturing one of my favorite images in my 6.5 year career.
    I began as a mom with a camera in 2010. My business has grown over the years, and so has my voice. Connection and sunlight are my favorite muses.
  3. 3.
    Witnessing my daughters' bond strengthen.
    I always wanted a sister; I'm so glad they have one another. {yup, her cheeks are real!}
  4. 4.
    Catching a reflection of my life, and the outside perspective it brought.
    My husband helping Kam with math, framed perfectly, brought a deep sense of gratitude in the mundane of a very normal day.
  5. 5.
    Figuring out new ways to mom, run the biz, and not be a psycho.
    I've been momma for 8 years, and small business owner for over 6 years. Sometimes I go psycho. This week I cut some paper drop edges off, passed out colored pencils, and got work done at the studio. I've never had to give up either of my dreams, being a mom OR being a professional photographer. I hope my daughters grow up knowing it can all be a reality. work + family. They just have to let go of perfection and be who they are ❤️
  6. 6.
    Extra. The mess of three kids. Because it's not all gooey lovey. It's messy 95% of the time.
    This was actually a mess made only by my three year old son while Nanny's, all in less than 15 minutes.
