Things I learned in class
  1. Calcium
    Ladies. Eat. Your. Calcium. Fat-free and low fat dairy.
  2. Fat
    Monounsaturated.. Polyunsaturated. But limit your saturated because it raises your cholesterol.
  3. Cholesterol
    LDL's bad. HDL's is good. Both are cholesterol.
  4. Fiber
    Digestible and indigestible. Both are important. Raises HDL's. Good for digestion. Very important!
  5. Carbohydrates
    About 50% of diet. Eat your vegetables. Eat your fruits. Eat your whole grains.
  6. Protein
    Plant and animal protein good!
