Who inspires you? Who do you aspire to be like?
I'm inspired by women like my mom, my grandmother, Audrey Hepburn, Stevie Nicks, Gloria Steinem, Nora Ephron, Michelle Obama, Carrie Fisher, or really just anyone who's managed to persevere and/or make a difference in the world. As for the person I aspire to be, I want to be someone who people are glad to meet/know.

What was the last book you read without skipping through anything?
An arc of Nicola Yoon's The Sun Is Also a Star that my sweet friend gave me the last time I saw her. (And, y'all, I hope you'll trust me when I tell you to go ahead and preorder that book because it. is. INCREDIBLE.)

What is the most random thing you've ever watched on Netflix?
I don't even know. Probably some tiny house show.
  5. 5.
If you could trade lives with one person for an entire day, who would it be and why?

This is so lame but I've always wanted to ride a rollercoaster. I know, I know, but I never really rode rides back when I was a kid/teen because of my weight and a fear that I'd get there only to find out I was too big for the seat/safety belt.
  12. 12.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I'm really proud of the novel I wrote. I mean, I know the chances of it finding a publisher and ending up on a bookshelf are small, but I'm just really proud of the fact that I stuck with it and finished it even when all I wanted to do was delete it and set my computer on fire.

And let's be honest— I probably would have married him and had little dorky, awkward children except he never called me after that night. 🙁
