BEST ADVICE I’VE EVER RECEIVED

  1. "So if you are in a bad place today, or any day, know that things DO turn around over time. You'll be okay. You got this. Really. Be kind to yourself, whatever you are struggling with. Take the time you need. Breathe. Sleep. Think. A sunnier day will come. Eventually." - Sarah Dessen

  25. At both of the Fleetwood Mac concerts I saw this year, Stevie Nicks gave the following advice and it turned out to be exactly what I needed:
"Everybody has their Velvet Underground moment, and I just want to remind you whether you're old or young or middle aged or whatever that if you love something and you really want to do it, please do not let anyone tell you you can't do it. Because as my mom used to say, life is long and if you're not doing something you love, you're going to be a bored person for the rest of your life. So it's really important that you find that thing that you love, your passion, and you do it."
