BOOKS I TREATED MYSELF TO TODAY

The last week has felt like a Monday almost every. single. day. 😑 So as a way to celebrate surviving it with my sanity (mostly) intact, I decided to take Tom Haverford and Donna Meagle's advice and treat myself to something I love.
  1. Dear Emma by Katie Heaney
I loved, loved, loved Katie Heaney's memoir (Never Have I Ever) so I have higher than usual hopes that I'll love this one, too.
  2. My Life on the Road by Gloria Steinem
You know that question, "What six people, living or dead, would you invite to dinner?" Well, Gloria Steinem is one of those six people for me. I just have such a deep admiration and respect for her and what she's done in her lifetime that if I were to ever meet her, I would turn into a mumbling, bumbling, gushing moron.
  3. Cravings by Chrissy Teigen
This one was a pure impulse buy- as evidenced by the Target sticker- but I'm just in *such* a food rut right now. I mean I cook and it's okay, but it's not anything that makes my taste buds do a happy dance. So when I saw this sitting on the shelf, I decided to make it my first step towards remembering what delicious tastes like.
