because he should be a genre all his own
  1. 1.
    Pulp Fiction
Altogether challenging as a film, but I think essential to independent cinema breaking the rules. Not to mention mysterious, sexy and truly entertaining.
  2. 2.
    Kill Bill: Vol 2
Love the western feel of this volume over the more Asian themed first film.
  3. 3.
    Jackie Brown
Horrible but so, so entertaining. This was a different violent feel than most of his other movies, less in your face about the gore.

I love to read, but honestly don't find reading things twice any better. So if I've read it twice its gotta be damn good!
  1. The Great Gatsby - F Scott Fitzgerald
My parents used to read this to me as a kid and I grew up in love with Jay Gatsby. First not-so-celeb crush. Now I read it for the brilliant writing and outstanding story.
  2. The Exorcist - William Peter Blatty
because how could you not love the original possession story
  3. Freakonomics - Stephen J. Dubner & Steven Levitt
First read this one because of a college class and loved it
