I LOVE BROWN RICE

  1. It's brown
  2. It smells so good
  3. It has a low glycemic index, whatever that means
  4. It gives you a sense of entitlement and superiority when talking about cooking with white rice eaters
  5. It takes longer to cook, which just makes you hungrier and more desperate for food by the time it's finally goddamn ready
  6. It seems anecdotally to be way more expensive than white rice, which makes no sense
  7. You can make tasty fried rice with it
