NOTES ON WAITING FOR THE SCHOOL BUS
The school bus comes at 8:30am. It's a pleasant walk with my two kids. Here are some thoughts I jotted down. A few parents congregate in the morning and we wait with our kids.
- •Slippers. Outside.
- •Robes. Outside.
- •I'm pretty sure I look like an asshole drinking coffee out of a mason jar.
- •Our bus driver is an EMT and she is awesome. She hands out lollipops on Fridays. Last week my daughter got a bacon flavored one and nearly hurled.
- •Rock and roll dad neighbor guy totally reminds me of jack black. I think he gets that a lot.
- •I don't even own a robe. Maybe I should get a robe.
