NOTES ON WAITING FOR THE SCHOOL BUS

The school bus comes at 8:30am. It's a pleasant walk with my two kids. Here are some thoughts I jotted down. A few parents congregate in the morning and we wait with our kids.
  1. Slippers. Outside.
  2. Robes. Outside.
  3. I'm pretty sure I look like an asshole drinking coffee out of a mason jar.
  4. Our bus driver is an EMT and she is awesome. She hands out lollipops on Fridays. Last week my daughter got a bacon flavored one and nearly hurled.
  5. Rock and roll dad neighbor guy totally reminds me of jack black. I think he gets that a lot.
  6. I don't even own a robe. Maybe I should get a robe.
