Inspired by @TheAVClub and @pitchfork. It was a great year for music. (In no particular order.)
  1. I Love You, Honeybear by Father John Misty
I haven't stopped listening to this album since February. Good music for dancing, driving, showering, cooking, walking...being an imperfect human specimen.
  2. Carrie and Lowell by Sufjan Stevens
The most painful and honest Sufjan record yet
  3. Coming Home by Leon Bridges
    Nostalgic, classy, catchy, smooth.
  4. Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit by Courtney Barnett
This album feels unpolished and raw, and it's just right.
  5. Before the World Was Big by Girlpool
    Girl crushes 💕
  6. If You're Reading This It's Too Late by Drake
    I luh u, Aubrey
  7. To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
I literally can't say anything for this that you don't already know
  8. Surf by Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment
CHANCE, my boy!! This album makes me want to dance.
  9. Another Eternity by Purity Ring
Saw them live in Prague last month and it was transcendental.
  10. Sound and Color by Alabama Shakes
I could listen to her voice all day long.
  11. Back on Top by The Front Bottoms
The loves of my life 😍
  12. Honorable Mentions
Blurryface by twenty one pilots, Honeymoon by Lana Del Rey, Currents by Tame Impala, Purpose by Justin Bieber
