Espresso-Induced Memory 2

2 shots
  1. In middle school my mom put me in GOLD, an after school program almost every kid hated being in.
It basically was prison for those whose parents worked a full 8hr shift.
  2. One day, I lied to my GOLD instructor saying my mom gave me permission to go watch the track meet instead of going to GOLD.
  3. Turns out, my mom happened to call my GOLD instructor after I failed to answer my phone a number of times and I was caught in my lie.
  4. At the time, I didn't know what I was more embarrassed by: the actual act of getting caught or my mom having to ask what track was.
