An exciting, turbulent year
  1. Studs (tv show)
GREAT WIKI ENTRY: Two men go on dates with three women; afterward, the men would have to match answers with the women regarding the date. If the men could correctly guess which woman chose them, both received an all-expense paid date to a location of their choice. Although the show earned high ratings among young viewers and was fairly popular during its run, it was canceled to make room for the short-lived Chevy Chase Show.
  2. My Israeli grandmother's shelf of romance novels
My late grandmother was an avid reader and spoke four languages. She also had a very comprehensive collection of erotic romance novels that helped her keep up her English. This is where I discovered the works of Jeffrey archer, Sidney Sheldon, and whoever wrote Princess Delphine.
  3. Local news anchor Charlotte Ames
Charlotte Ames went from WTAJ anchor to the host of her own segment, called HealthCast, in which she would offer helpful tips to stay healthy, sometimes walk people through a procedure. I think this was a demotion because she had kids or something, but I'm not sure. Anyway, one day I could see one of her bra straps and instantly she became the sexiest thing I'd ever seen. Years later, I met her at a music store and said, "Hey, I guess I'll see you later," meaning on the news. Her face: 😳
