THE WOMEN'S MARCH IN WASHINGTON D.C.

  1. Even though I live twenty minutes outside of D.C., I was hesitant to go to the march.
I have social anxiety, I'm an introvert, and I just generally don't do well with crowds. Also, all my friends are at school and I had no idea who to go with.
  2. However, my sister and her best friend Miranda came down from Pennsylvania to go to the march, and I decided to go with them.
  3. We made signs.
  4. The line for the metro was sooooooo long.
  5. But the vibe was great and it went really quickly.
  6. The walk from the metro to the rally felt like a prep for the march.
  7. There were so many people there. Like seriously this was the most crowded event I've ever been to.
  8. The sign game was fantastic.
  9. This must have been so expensive to make. Tampons aren't cheap.
  10. Someone printed out the "He will kill us all" scene from SNL.
  11. I like the one that just says "No."
  12. I also saw a guy dressed like a unicorn and he was holding a sign that said "consentacorn."
It was awesome and unfortunately I didn't get a pic.
  13. I'm exhausted. My hips are killing me, and I am so sick of people. But, I'm so glad I went.
  14. To everyone who marched in a different city or in D.C., I stand with you.
  15. To everyone who wanted to march but couldn't, I stand with you.
