1. Pro: no commercials
Some commercials are hell to sit through esp on channels that seem to play 30 seconds of the show and then 5 minutes of commercials
  2. Con: missing out on primo commercials
Some commercials are really good and I feel like I'm missing out. Also I miss promos for new shows or movies like that TV movie on ifc that Kristin wiig did over the summer
  3. Pro: never have to miss my shows
Without the dvr is would miss like 90% of the shows I watch due to forgetfulness and overlapping programs or naps. Now I never have to compromise
  4. Con: watching too many shows
I know what you're saying, too much tv is not a bad thing. It is when it consume your every thought like me. The dvr allowed me to have zero self control and even at times no standards for what I watch. I think I have at least 2 shows every night and probably more bc I don't have the attention span right now to go through every day of the week and try and remember what shows I watch
  5. Pro: have something to look forward to at the end of the week
Relaxation station is what I call my couch on weekends
  6. Con: laziness factor increased by a thousand
Amazingly enough procrastination can be about watching tv. How lazy do you have to be to not sit down for an hour bc paying attention to a storyline is too much energy? If I have a lot of shows to catch up on I weirdly get overwhelmed and just watch the office on Netflix for the millionth time
