Things I did and enjoyed this weekend

It's Bank Holiday weekend, yay! But I have to work tomorrow, boo! However, I had an amazing time over the weekend anyway, yay!
  1. 1.
Natural History Museum lates with my superstar friend Lorraine. We made antennae headbands, saw dinosaurs, experienced an earthquake, hung out with cavemen, tasted gin and insects and met an artist from Colombia just out walking a corgi made from wire like it wasn't the coolest thing in the world ever. Just so much fun.
  2. 2.
The Race for Life at Clapham Common with Sharon and Martine. How did 5k feel so hard after I did (okay, walked) a marathon last month? No clue. But an achievement in any case, and I was so inspired by the personal stories of the other runners. The woman with a sign on her back saying she was running for "my right boob" - I salute you.
  3. 3.
Barbecue fun at Katie and Tim's. Interesting beers, homemade limoncello, charred veggie burgers and wotsit baps. I honestly don't know what else you could ask for. Other than slightly scary faceswaps obviously.
  4. 4.
Hampton Court for a long overdue catch up with the brilliant Suzi who now lives in Sydney. We accidentally cracked the maze in record time, checked out Henry VIII's apartments and listened to some 16th century tunes. Nice pub lunch and a Bloody Mary rounded it all off rather nicely.
