What The What, or Things I Know To Be True

  1. Yard work before 9 AM on weekends is impermissible.
Also applies to Sunday at the Masters. What are we, barbarians?
  2. Your dog will inadvertently decide to defecate on the lawn of the family who is outside playing with their children.
    Sorry guys 😐
  3. You should always bring extra batteries and cards. The camera will need them 📽
  4. Be nice to everyone. Especially the interns.
You never know who you'll need to contact in the future.
  5. You will cry on public transportation and you will have no fucks left to give.
It's okay. You're growing. And who cares what people think?
  6. Your husband will have the stomach flu, the puppy will attempt to eat her own fur that's shed, there will be no gas in the grill and these things will happen simultaneously.
You just have to deal with it.
  7. Birth, death and pregnancy are never convenient. But that's on purpose.
There's never a perfect time for anything.
  8. We experienced sickness, birth, death, travel, love, loss and house guests these last 3 weeks.
  9. There were moments when I thought I would give up. I couldn't keep going. I broke down at really inconvenient times. I tried to be strong woman for my husband and family.
  10. This week is bound to test the patience of many, for a myriad of reasons.
The Election being foremost in my mind.
  11. So I ask everyone this week, and for all the weeks to come: take a deep breath. Exercise your power. Vote. Love one another. And be patient with everyone you meet.
They could be going through so much.
