LIVE LI.STING THE WOMEN'S MARCH: D.C. EDITION

Inspired by @natcorbs
  1. I'm wearing a neon pink PINK fanny pack
    So that's where we are
  2. I have a few goals:
  3. March for my rights
  4. Experience a movement
  5. See some cool shit
  6. Not be in any immediate danger
  7. High-five Chrissy Teigen
I know a lot of important things are happening today but high-fiving Chrissy Teigen would be the icing on the cake
  8. Eliza raised funds for this
  9. ☺️☺️☺️
  10. We out here
As in we survived the journey from the main stage to anywhere without people
  11. This is amazing and overwhelming and amazing
  12. I didn't have wifi for a while but I just learned Lauren Jauregui snapped a video five feet from where I was when I was there
    It's FINE
  13. Me expressing my views
  14. This was this morning before an additional 800,000 people showed up
  15. We arrived early and ended up very close to the stage with a great view
The speeches were amazing and empowering
  16. We decided to head out of the crowd. It was much easier said than done. It took almost an hour to navigate our way through the crowd to an opening
It was mildly awful but everyone was SO SO nice and understanding. I must have rubbed up against 600 different people and every single one of them was kind. The energy out here is unbelievable.
  17. I keep thinking of the Hamilton lyric "this is not a moment, it's the movement."
This day is truly a movement. It's amazing to be surrounded by all these people (men, women, and children) who believe in and are ready and willing to fight for the same thing. There are hundreds of thousands of people and at no point has it felt violent or unsafe. It's incredible.
  18. Charlie, the man that Trump fired after announcing 60 years of Inaugurations, spoke and was the cutest man I have ever seen
He made everyone say "hi, Charlie!" and called us all Charlie's Angels
  19. We left. We had been there for almost seven hours and we saw an opportunity to slip out and took it.
We fought the fight and just because we physically left doesn't mean our support ends.
  20. I highly suggest going out to a March today or any day, even if it's just for a little bit.
It's a glorious thing to experience
